The Majority of Farmers do not want hunting - MYTH

This is, quite simply, a lie.

Not only that, but it is easily disproved.

At present less than 5% of the farmers and substantial landowners within my local hunt country refuse to allow the hunt on their property.

This means that on those limited occasions when we are in the vicinity of such land, we are able to take action to try to prevent the hounds going where they are not wanted.

The more farmers that are unwelcoming in an area, the more difficult it is to keep off their land.

If as few as 20% of farmers, one-in-five, were against Hunting, it would not be able to continue. Whatever direction the hounds ran in, they would soon be hitting forbidden territory.

The number of farmers against hunting does not even make up a small minority, let alone a Majority.

The anti-hunt lobby knows this to be true, yet they still attempt to mislead the public. Why?
